REVELADAS

2025

Museum of Visual Arts, MAVI UC, Santiago, Chile

March – May 2025

The concept “Reveladas” was born from the reinterpretation of my series of giant dresses, which were created from the perspective of subordination, concealing a dimension of power and presence that they possessed.

The exhibition invited us to reflect on what would happen if we observed the feminine from a different perspective, generating a rebellion against the roles that conditioned these aprons and uncovering a hidden presence, making it unequivocal and powerful. The exhibition sought to transport us to our own origins, to a symbolic memory connected to nature.

The exhibition also addressed an identity under construction, with the presence of "Musa." The work brings to the forefront a reflection on the intersection of the ancestral American and the European, and how the evocation of this powerful feminine represented by the Muse has always inhabited us from a duality that shapes us as a continent.
